Critter’s Inflatable^® Pet life jacket

c) CO2 cylinder, green indicator pin or clip, and bobbin for arming the automatic inflation system,

d) Owner's Manual, and

e) Mesh pouch for carrying and storing the life jacket (not shown).

Each Critter’s Inflatable^® pet life jacket comes with an Upper and Lower harness set, and four adjuster assemblies. The upper harness set includes the Lifting strap with D-ring, two forward and two aft adjustable side straps, and an adjustable Collar strap. The lower harness set includes two lower harness straps. The forward lower harness assembly includes the lower neck strap. Each of the free ends of the lower harnesses now have a new feature called a "wrap around strap". This strap has Velcro type material which allows wrapping the strap around harness webbing to secure the free end so it does not hang.

Once you have attached the new harness set to the cover of your pet's inflatable life jacket, it is ready to be donned on your pet to make the initial adjustments for a snug, but comfortable fit. Once you have it adjusted make sure that the lifting strap is centered and the neck strap is centered.

While each Critter's Inflatable^® pet life jacket comes complete with the appropriate harness set for the size purchased, the harnesses are removable and could be lost or damaged. If the harnesses are lost or damaged, you can replace them.

Rearming Kits

Each rearming kit is for a specific size Critter’s Inflatable^® pet life jacket and includes:

a) Bobbin (water sensitive element),

b) Green indicator pin (V85000 Inflator) or clip (V90000 Inflator), and

c) CO2 cylinder sized specifically for your animal's inflatable pet life jacket (the thread size depends on which inflator is installed):

Small uses 8 gram,
Medium uses 12 gram, and
Large uses either:
24 gram (V90000 Inflator) or
25 gram (V85000 Inflator).

Using the wrong CO2 cylinder could (1) over inflate and damage the inflation chamber, if the cylinder size is too large; or (2) not fully inflate if the cylinder size is too small. HR-V85000 Series Inflator with 3/8"- 24UNF Threads The following table shows the parts required for rearming the Halkey-Roberts V85000 Automatic Inflator.

HR-V90000 Series Inflator with 1/2"- 20UNF Threads The following table shows the required parts for rearming the Halkey-Roberts V90000 Automatic Inflator. This is one of Halkey-Roberts newest Automatic Inflators and is only available for CO₂cylinders with 1/2”-20UNF threads. However, 8 and 12 gram CO₂ cylinders are only available in 3/8”-24 thread size. CO₂ manufacturers will soon be making 8 and 12 gram cylinders with 1/2”-20UNF threads. But until they do, we will make 3/8”-24 thread cylinders compatible with this inflator by way of a stainless steel insert. For the near-term, rearm kits may come with a threaded insert permanently attached to the CO₂cylinder.
